ParkIT, a leading provider of parking optimisation software, has announced its first contract in North America with Vancouver International Airport (YVR). As part of YVR’s $9.1 billion capital construction project, a new valet parking option will be introduced with the help of ParkIT’s innovative technology. The contract will provide YVR with a tailored end-to-end solution to manage its parking operation.
With over 30 operating bases in the UK and Germany, ParkIT has grown rapidly in just three years, and now powers some of the largest block parking operations in the UK. The YVR contract marks an exciting first step for ParkIT into the North American market.
As part of the contract, ParkIT will supply a valet parking management system that includes a vehicle damage capture system, self-service kiosks, lockers, and the core operating platform. This will help to expand YVR’s portfolio of parking products and enhance the customer experience with the latest in self-service technology and over 3,000 block parking spaces.
