Edinburgh Airport Limited (EAL) has signed a major contract with ParkIT, the industry leader in parking optimisation software, to provide a bespoke end-to-end technology solution for managing its parking operation. This new partnership presents an excellent opportunity for ParkIT to showcase its full portfolio of products at the largest airport in Scotland, which is also the fifth busiest airport in the UK.
As part of a major construction project, EAL is building a brand new drop-and-go facility that aims to provide an excellent passenger experience while accommodating passenger growth. The facility will utilise the latest parking management systems, combining vehicle damage capture with self-service technology to provide a world-class automated turnkey solution.
ParkIT will provide the valet parking management solution that will deliver a vehicle damage capture system, self-service kiosks and lockers, as well as the core operating platform. This new facility is set to revolutionise parking at the busiest airport in Scotland by using the latest technology to offer a more convenient, self-service product.
